Explore Gracetown Beach
Gracetown is one of the most adorable local surfing spots, home to some of the best waves in the world. You can head to Grace Town to watch the surfers, swim at the bay, relax on the beautiful beaches, grab a coffee and one of their delicious treats from Gracies General Store or hike a section of the Cape to Cape.
A great short hike in Gracetown leads you from Huzzas car park to South Point Lookout. This 1 km hike offers beautiful views of Gracetown and the Bay area and is suitable for families and all fitness types.
Wilyabrup Climbing and abseiling sea cliffs walk
33 Willyabrup Road, Wilyabrup, Western Australia, Australia
If you are looking to get off the beaten track and experience some of Western Australia’s most rugged coastline, you should visit the Wilyabrup Cliffs. They are hidden on the coast and 30ms high. The views are amazing. A 4WD is recommended to access. If you are feeling more adventurous book in to abseil and rockclimb with Margaret River Climbing Co.
Visit the beautiful bird artwork at the Lions Club of Cowaramup
Just up the road from us is the Lions Club of Cowaramup, you will find one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork in the region. The artwork is of three colourful parrots, sitting in a tree. And if you are looking to score a bargain, the Lions Shed is open to the public Thursday and Friday 9am -2pm & Saturday 9am – 12:30pm. Whilst you’re their also worth checking out the cows of Cowaramup and other gourmet & artisan stores.
Margaret River Dairy Company
For fresh local cheeses, a trip to the Margaret River Dairy Co is what you need. You can choose from a selection of soft cheeses including brie and camembert, club cheddar in a selection of flavours and pot set yogurts.
Lunch and beers at Cheeky Monkey
Cheeky Monkeys is a brewery with draft beer and large outdoor setting. It is a place to relax and stop for lunch, especially for families. There is a great play area and plenty of room for the kiddos to run around.
Wining and Fine Dining at Vasse Felix
Vasse Felix is the oldest winery in the Margaret River region, home to some of the finest wine and food. If you are looking for a more luxurious lunch, head to Vasse Felix and complete your Margaret River experience.

Millers Ice Cream
Millers Ice Cream is a 5-minute drive out of Cowaramup and has some of the most delicious ice cream EVER! This is another great place to go with kids. There is lots of outdoor space and a playground. Bring a picnic basket and relax on the grass. Visit the Milking Shedand watch a Live Milking Show at 11am daily during school holidays.
The Margaret River Chocolate Co.
If nougat and ice cream isn’t enough, then just up the road is the Chocolate factory. Here you can sample chocolate and choose from a range of different chocolate flavours, shapes and sizes. Along with producing chocolate Coward & Black (owners of MR Chocolate Co.) have a food store & deli with home made jams, chutneys, preserves and sauces, and a treasure trove of unique gourmet ingredients called Providore.
One of Australia’s finest producers of extra virgin Olive oil is just around the corner. Here you can purchase olive oil, condiments and olive oil skin care range.
Whilst you are there enjoy a Mediterranean inspired lunch using their various products, try their olive oil-based cakes. My favourite is rosemary!.
Last but not least is the Margaret River Venison Farm. Here you can sample a selection of freshest game meats in the region. You will also find a careful selection of the best local produce, including our nougat!
