Description
The warm growing season of 2020 along with a philosophy for dry grown Chardonnay has lead to reduced crop levels and the development of intense fruit flavours in this wine. As a result, this seasons Chardonnay is beautifully balanced with complexity and integration making it a superb wine to drink now, but will be equally as rewarding to hold back in the cellar for 5 – 10 years.
This rich wine shows classy oak characters such as cashew, roast almond and vanillin. The texture of the wine is viscous and mouth filling but balanced by a crisp, invigorating acidity.
Colour: golden straw.
Aroma: Aromatic display of cashew, roast almonds, vanillin, crème brûlée.
Palate: Soft, dense, complex palate with faint fruit characters of poached pears fresh pineapple.
This wine will age well for many years. Rich cream sauces match perfectly with this Chardonnay.
