Vintage 2021 continued… what appeared to be a year to worry, wish and hope turned out to produce great fruit across all varieties. No disease, no bird damage, clean fresh fruit full of flavour & great acid balance.

Picking was completed just in the nick of time and with the perfect ripeness. All cellar door, kitchen and cleaning team rallied together to get out into the vineyard and pick.

Cabernet pressed to barrel – 100% new French oak. Clearly a wine for the coming decades.

Chardonnay also fermented in 100% new French oak with wild yeast and now weekly stirring to create yeast bread characters to compliment the complex vanillin & peach notes.

Sauvignon Blanc fermented and now time to fine & bottle for those early fruit driven styles. Keep an eye out for the new release around July 2021

Rose’still fermenting under cool conditions. Some will be going to create one of our best sellers, Chilli Rose’ and the remainder to our always popular just off dry summery style of Rose’.

A little breather now before pruning in the midst of winter!
